Well colour me silly! I've been hanging around here for a couple of weeks now, but haven't really navigated through the forums much. And lo and behold, what do I find? Introductions!
Hi! *waves* I'm Diana. I lives in Canada, and I sings in my computer room. Often quite loudly. The cat doesn't often approve, especially if I disturb her slumber (a kitty needs her 23.5 hours of beauty rest per day, you realise).
Just wanted to say an official hullo to folks around here. I'm so impressed with all the wonderful singers and talent I've heard on the site, and look forward to hearing more from everyone.
(Also--I like smiley faces, as is obvious from this post... )

Hiya Melly! *hugs* 'Scuse my brain fart, but what's a "PM poster"?
Hi Jeanne! I've decided that I wish to come back as a cat in my next life, though with my karma points thus far I'll more likely be a slug. That rolly smiley is The Best! I have a new favourite!!!
Hiya Crystal! So many Edmontonians...I'd better not tell you where I'm living then, eh...*averts eyes* Oh, okay, I live in Calgary. Don't hold it against me!

CALGARY?!?!??!!??!?! OH NO!!!! Phill.... you gotta kick this girl outta here... Calgary is the BAD city!! !!! Incase you don't know... which most of you dont'...... My city (Edmonton) and Sprite's city (Calgary) are rival cities... same province. Rival football teams and hockey teams... It's just a crazy Albertan thing!! but EDMONTON'S BETTER!! !
ok... I guess you're still welcome here!!!
nah I'm just messin' with ya.... Calgary's allright as long as I don't have to DRIVE anywhere while I'm there!!

Oh! Melly! I remember now! , forgive me, my bad forgetful brain. To borrow your schtick, it's possible I've just had too much tequilla...
And, , Crystal, I'm glad you can forgive me for my place of abode! Calgary's alright by me as long as I don't have to drive anywhere either, hehe! Though I must say, those roundabout traffic circle thingies in Edmonton confuse me every time! As for rival hockey teams, I'm really biting my tongue about the past year the Flames had! Hockey! Where have ye gone!? Yep, that's right folks, our cities have probably got the most rivalry in the country! But not me and Crystal, nope, we's buddies.

When I drove through Calgary the only glad thing about it was it being over. Of course it was after dark, I had spent 4 hours at the border getting through, they had a huge snowstorm the day before that closed the road between Edmonton and Calgary, cars were in the ditches, etc. Did I mention I was in a Miata pulling a trailer and it was our 4th day on the road w/ me, my fiance, and our cat stuffed in the car w/ lots of other stuff? Maybe that had something to do with it?
I can say I was very impressed with how clean the Canadian Cities appeared though. I didn't see trash on the sidewalks, graffiti, etc. VERY clean cities (Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, and the few others I drove through).
Welcome, Spritelyish! Hope you enjoy your time here!

Hah, karaokemeister! *snickers* Yeah, those darn snowstorms happen far too often. I just hope it wasn't May -- I swear, the annual Calgary May storm with a metre of snow is enough to make me move to...um...Vancouver. You sure had a full car on that trip. My cat doesn't do car rides. Well, she will, with a tranquilizer pill, but you can imagine how easy it is to get her to TAKE said pill. Thanks for the welcome! I like cat people.
, Crystal.

No, it's a salmon. Very tasty when stuffed and barbequed.
