Karaoke Forums

I would like to make a quick request of all members here!

I know that we are all very busy in other sections of the site and the forums, but if everyone would please take a brief moment each day to visit the "Newbie Intro" Forum.

There are many people who just joined and they would like to feel welcomed to your site. I know that there really isn't much that you can say but it is nice to at least acknowledge them and say hello.

That was the whole reason for that section:

1) Each 'Newbie' should start their own post. Give some basic information.
Where they are from.
How long they have been doing Karaoke (if at all)
What they enjoy about it.
etc.

2) Then everyone can respond to them and welcome them to the site.
This way they don't get lost in the huge post.

3) Of course, the same forum rules apply and we will be watching!

4) You must be courteous to others and ENJOY!

Thanks for the reminder Phill! I for one forget to pop over there. It was easy for me to jump in over here because I knew so many people, but I remember when I went to my first karaoke site and lurked for a while before joining. If I had not of gotten such warm welcomes, I probably wouldn't have stayed around too long being the shy kind of person I am....

heh heh I kind of thought you'd be the first to respond to that!! Well, I really was...once...a long time ago....really!!!

And that's right Phill, just tell us how high - We'd do anything for you...to make you smile....anything for you ... to make you happy ... la la la la la .... someone needs to write a song.........

And besides it's a good way to get more silver thingy bobs!!!

I usually welcome them when they sub, but will also make an effort to welcome them at the forum. Thanks for reminding us. Knightshow broke me in when I was a karaoke scene virgin!! I'll never forget it!!

That's funny I used to be really shy too. I guess once you get over that it can tend to swing way over to the other side of the pendulum. I'm probably just making up for all the times I kept my mouth shut when I wanted to scream out.

I'm never going back there again even if my big mouth gets me into trouble once in a while.

Lawsy! That little birdy is giving me fits and it's not even that little birdy and now I'm even more confused!!

I really at one time was painfully shy - stop snickering Melly! In high school if people didn't know me they thought I was stuck up because I wouldn't even look at anyone in the face! My hubby took care of that for me right away though - I had to come out of my shell to keep up with him - now I'm more outgoing than he is! Yep, Wannabe (it is you right?!) I'm not ever going back either - too much fun this way! whoo hoooooooo!!

ummmm....Allstar was never shy? Hard to believe isn't it?
