Hi:

I am looking for a karaoke program that provide the database funtionality to store my VCD karaoke files and allow me to do the search, and queue songs.

Do you have any suggestion for some good programs?

First, the caveat -- I hope you own all the discs you will be ripping and won't be making illegal copies. This is kindof an ongoing fight right now that I don't totally understand given the ease of use it presents to KJs who are being legal and just storing their software digitally.

Here's what I've been using:

First, you have to have a CD-Rom drive that will read CDG and VCD discs, I would go with a Plextor, love em.

Second, you need to rip, I think Audiograbber is by far the best solution and, best of all, it's free.

For playback there are a number of options. I'm using Sax n Dotty's right now but it has its issues, a new version has been promised and not delivered, etc. You can't beat the price though.
