IS "Life Is Just A Fantasy" by Aldo Nova on karaoke? I used to love that song!

Um, Aren't you thinking of "Fantasy"...

that has the lyrics in it.
Fantasy

"City Nights
Summer breeze makes you feel alright
Neon-lights
Shining brightly make you brain ignite
See the girls with the dresses so tight
Give you love, if the price is right
Black or white
In the streets there's no wrong and no right

Outasite
Buy your kicks from the man in the white
Feels alright
Powder pleasure in your nose tonight
See the men pain their faces and cry
Like some girl, it makes you wonder why
City life
Sure is cool, but it cuts like a knife, it's your life

So forget all that you see
It's not reality, it's just a fantasy

Can't you see what this crazy life is doing to me (A)

Life is just a fantasy, can you live this fantasy life
Life is just a fantasy, can you live this fantasy life

(Repeat (A) till fade)"

This is out on MANY karaoke discs.

Now, while we're speaking of Aldo Nova, I'd LOVE to get his "Monkey On Your Back" song done karaoke style. I've devocalized the regular song, but it suffers a lot. I've sang it twice in my show, and people are very kind! I think they just wait the four minutes! LOL!

I would love to find Anything Bjork!
Bjork - Human Behavior
Bjork- It's Oh So Quiet
Bjork- Hyper Ballad
Bjork- I Miss You
Bjork- Hidden Place

Lisa Loeb - Stay

Joss Stone - Dirty Man

***Disney's version -AWhole New World.***

A DUET version with ONSCREEN LYRICS. I have learned my lesson the hard way buying Disney Karaoke CDs. They advertise that it has CDG but I didn't look close enough to see the ( * ) Of course, half the songs on the discs don't have Onscreen lyrics because Disney won't release the rights or something like that. :x

If anyone knows where I can find any of these, please let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it :)

I have asked around for piano players (even willing to pay them) to record accompaniments for the following (although if I could find these already in karaoke format, I would be high as a kite):

1. Non piu mesta, from "La Cenerentola" (G. Rossini)

2. A Guarda Sorella from "Cosi Fan Tutte" (W. A. Mozart)

3. Exsultalte Jubilate K. 165 (158a), complete version (W. A. Mozart)--- by the way I have already hired someone to record the accompaniment which would be suitable for a professional recording.

4. Geistliches Weigenlied (J. Brahms)

5. Assisa a pie d'un salice-Deh! calma, o Ciel, nel sonno from "Otello" (G. Rossini)

6. Flower Duet (Viens, Malika) from "Lakme" (L. Delibes)

P.S. If any piano players are up for hire to record any of these, I can e-mail you the sheet music. We can discuss any financial terms you may have.

Some of the ones I've desperately tried looking for (and even offered to pay people to record) are:

1. Non piu mesta from "La Cenerentola"--- G. Rossini
2. Exsultalte Jubilate, kv 165 (158a)--- W. A. Mozart
3. Lascia ch'Io Pianga from "Rinaldo"---- G. F. Handel
4. Viens, Malika from "Lakme" ---- L. Delibes
5. A Guarda Sorella from "Cosi fan Tutte" --- W. A. Mozart
6. "Assisa a pie d'un salice- Deh! calma, o Ciel, nel sonno" from "Otello" ---G. Rossini

7. Una donna come me from "Il mondo della luna"--- J. Haydn

If anyone is interested in recording any of these, I can get you the sheet music.

I hang out at a bar that is mostly the 20's and 30's crowd (heck I'm 32 myself). One song a bunch of people would like to sing is "Freaks of the Industry" by Digital Underground.

Most people could sing this song with no lyrics at all on screen, but they don't even make an instrumental version of this song! :x
