Okay you first Sher!
Hmmm, what is 60s or 70s genre?
Gender-Bender, that would be comedy for me.

Hmm... guess it wouldn't be a genre? But it seems there are not too many genres ... we could add a catagory and call it theme? Hehe... OK... I guess I have too much time this morning and I always stick my foot in my mouth... OLY OLY OLYYYYYYY..... there..... whatayathink????

The reason that there are so few Genres is because the rest have already been featured. So in order to get everyone 'out of the box' and to keep it from getting boring, I thought it would be fun to only have genres that have not been featured yet. Eventually, we will be forced to feature a genre that most havent been williing to go for.
Then we will start all over again with a full list (as full as it allows )
If anyone has a different idea let me know, please!
I will add yodelin next week, Sher, thanks for the suggestion keep 'em coming.
As for 60's or 70's, next month I was gonna have a 'generation' week and just put up years (i.e 60',70's, 80's and more)
Again, if someone has a better idea, let me know (Webguru man?)
Thanks for voting!!

Hip-Hop? Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please....
Just once I want a genre where I have an ace up my sleeve....
I'll be trying to go back and fill in the last couple weeks worth of 'genre's of the week' and trying to sub this week. The unpacking is still going on but I think I might have enough time to put in a sub or two this week. I'm feeling much better though... even went out and sang the other night... (quick rotations - did close to 20 songs that night!).

I can do the bluegrass covers.. I am seeking permission to upload
the originals in Bluegrass from my Catalog... So far that is meeting some resistance... As some might understand... I'll let you know if that changes.. There is a meeting to find out what the issues are. I have a clue that it has to do with marketability of the published material.
See ya in a few..
KM... I still have the hip-hop trax too.

oh lord phill!! Gender-bender would be hillarious...though there are some really good ones that have been submitted... I think the only male singer that I could even TRY to sing would be Vince Gill with his girly voice! ha!

Yes Jazzy! You've got some hillarious Ideas there. I think we could all use a good belly-jigglin, tear-jerkin, throat-scratchin, rip-roarin, down-home rib-crakin good ole' laugh!!!! don't ya agree??
Whattasay Phill??? wanna???
I like the artist idea thing..... and i REALLY like the idea of having to have a certain word in the title...... almost like a song chain idea..... *DING!!! lightbulb lights up* HOW 'BOUT THAT???? a SONG CHAIN!! someone sings a song.... the next sub should have the next link... and so on. And of course not everyone needs to participate, so those that DO can type "SC SUB" in front of the title or something? so that we know it's part of it... make sense? Whattaya think???
someone PLEASE send BeachHeadBum a Britney track. This i GOTTA hear!

Looks like it is a close race...
Currently Bluegrass is out in front, followed by Classical, then HipHop...
What will the final result be?
Can't wait 'til tomorrow morning to find out...
