Is the count ( people commenting) missing on the front page? Has there been a change or is there a problem?

Tony -
I have been working on speeding up the page load. The comments were causing a major porton of the delay problem.
I am attempting to develop a method that will work better in the meantime it is gone from the main page of Singer's Showcase.
