As you increase your post count (the amount of replys and topics that you have submitted) you receive more CDGs or silver thingy bobs 
Now that you know what they are, you will see that some of the regulars have earned quite a few... It is basically for fun, but I find it nice to give small rewards for posters. Plus it instantly lets you know who have been the most active!
Thinking of doing some modification to the name ranks. Will start a new topic in the main Discussion Forum!

Interesting.... never thought of them that way....
It's tied to post count. But it's not linear (one for every X #of posts). Some people on 'other' boards actually drive up post counts to seem more 'credible'. I haven't seen it here (thank GOD!).
When I opened this thread I said I wouldn't laugh... and I'm trying hard not to.... I really am....

wellllll i am blonde and i did post that question at errr about 3 in the morning ...my excuse and sticking to it olol ahh you will soon get used to me asking nutty questions and now ive been told...yes they do look like cd's ol....soooo instead of gold stars we get silver thingy bobs...oooo i am liking that ol....i got 2 soooo i aint doing too bad hehehehe
