I'm with you Tammy - Willie Nelson all the way!! I love that man. I wanted to be Norah Jones when she sat at the piano and sang with him at his 70th birthday bash. I just love all his songs that's all.
In my dreams I share the stage with Bette Midler! She's my idol!

John Denver, John Lennon, Johnny Cash, Jerry Garcia, Carlos Santana. All these men were my musical influences in writing and on guitar. Sadly, all my idols are gone, except Mr. Santana.

Oooh nice topic!
I'd need a time machine, but it would be Nat King Cole without a shadow of doubt.
If I had to pick someone alive today, it would be Paul Young or Annie Lennox.

I would loved to have sang with Frank Sinatra. Kinda like the way he and Dean used to. They always looked like they were havin' a ball!
I'd also like to do a couple of classic Steve and Eydie duets with Faith
Hill. Humma, Humma, Humma!

B.B. King - the undisputed King of Blues in my book. 'nuf said.
Meatloaf - this man has pipes.... not many people start on Broadway, do an album, tear a vocal chord, and even start with a voice half as strong as this guy has now.
Sting - Awesome voice - great performer. Goes from pop/rock mainstream to contemporary jazz performer.
I agree with the above Sting wouldn't be a really bad mentor. Neither would Meatloaf.
I caught a "Clay Aiken/Idols on tour" show before I left and was REALLY Blown away... I'll reserve my comments to "They Actually can Sing!" I wouldn't mind 2 songs on the same stage with Kim Locke.

I would have to say Melissa Etheridge, Celine Dion, and my #1 choice would be George Michael (a song that he's not whispering)
