Was just wondering if anyone used one to help with vocals?
Not sure if it would help or what it really does.

For karaoke? Are you serious? Bad enough passing a mic around with everyone's spit on it, let alone sharing ear-wax!

By "earpiece" I assume you mean IEM, or In-ear monitors. I have tried them during karaoke (a show I was running) but the problem is you don't get ambient. It isn't good to run only one, so that is that for karaoke.

If you are singing in a band, they are very nice. Even better if you have a mic pointed at the crowd to pick up ambient.
