Just a question though, with all the available players out today why in the world would you pick Digital KJ to work with?

I went with DigitalKJ because I was at a show years ago where the KJ was using it and I was impressed by the things he was doing with it. He was doing things with his audience screen I had never seen, a morphing scroll announcing upcoming singers, background visualizations, a dancing scooby doo and more. When I asked him about it he showed me the singer repertoire, the history reporting, the contest manager, and the rotation management. I was floored by it. Some of these features are old-hat these days, but back then I knew of no one that offered anything like it. I had to have it because I knew my show would be like nobody else's. And since then, when a DJ or KJ pops into my show for the first time I usually get the same response from them.

Good points for it's use in it's day but I find the newer version I just downloaded to be to complicated in the use of it's features, also the fact that it uses winamp as it's base, the CPU useage is up to almost 50% where Karma is running anywhere between 16 and 25%.

I will try moving the files I ripped on Digital KJ to another computer tomorrow I am getting ready to start a poker torny right now and I hope to possibly finish higher than number 123 out of 1000 this time!
I will post the results after I try it!

With all of the lawsuits going on, have none really made it to court? There are enough KJs here to either testify if they have been named, had a court date set, what their lawyers have said about the lawsuit, or even simply live where a lawsuit was named and attend the hearing to see how the cases turn out. Can anyone vouch for any of these scenarios? If none of the cases actually make it to court, why submit to an audit? If it is to avoid being named and trying to save face, then fine. But if you have been named without a prior offer to do an audit, I would just go to court.

As far as I know none have made it to "trial", some were dropped, some were defaulted, and many were settled, some settled on the brink of trial (but this is common knowledge).

There have been several KJs on these boards who have been filed against who were fighting the suit and were going to show everyone how they were going to crush the manus, only to later settle and or suddenly become completely silent.

Several have stated that their lawyers said, just go through the audit and be done with it. Others have stated that their lawyers told them, to just settle and be done with it.

Some feel it is the right thing to do (those that know they are 1:1).

Everyone who is named is made an audit offer, some refused and some
tried to buy up as many disc as possible before they went to the audit, (these were refused the audit).

My personal feeling is I would love to see several of these cases make it to court to see what is going to happen, we had one in Richmond that I thought was going to make it to trial but the KJ involved decided to just let the case default, my guess is he is going to let the manu involved chase him for collection.
