First off it wasn't on Sid's board it was on "JOLT" and was a satirical response to Chip's over night expansion to 6 systems.

Second, it was also 3 years before I moved to computer, I didn't move to computer until a year after the Richmond Jolt Convention, I was disc based at the all of the Jolt gatherings!

If you had read the thread and remember what I posted you should certainly remember the rest of it as well! Nothing paranoid about it personally I think your selective reading and memory is funny!

And as I said if you are dishonest enough to be a pirate you will be dishonest enough to try and circumvent the process, but I will leave that to those that think that way!

The problem is, I kind of remember YOU with a bunch of systems- what happened?

When I was disc based I had 3 complete systems installed in venues that were long running so that I only had to carry the disc into each one of them as well as a mobile system. I also had a rental system setup with a 57 disc set of Pioneer CDGs and I had a small second system (which included the Pioneer set used in the rental) along with various sets of AH, SGB, BS and a few other various disc I sold that system after the guy I had working for me decided to take it on the road and started booking venues under his own name. I also had 2 complete Pioneer Laser disc sets one of which I sold to "DOC" on Jolt and the other I still have. At one time I had 12 Pioneer V10G players, 6 Laser disc players along with 2 555 units.

After I went computerized and lost two of the installed gigs I parked all of the players and I have 1 KJ system and 2 DJ systems and am getting ready to add another KJ system! I also had over 20 various speaker systems two live sound rigs and around 20,000 watts worth of amps. I have also reduced this as well I now have 12 sets of mains, down to 6 subs and don't have any boards over 16 channels, I have also reduced my amps down to 2 GPS 3500's 2 GPS 1500's, 1 PV 2000, 6 CS 800S's and 2 QSC MX3000A's. And I had yogurt for breakfast this morning!

have you noticed that your satirical responses are what start many of the arguments?

satire is not well received or understood on forums as they have no voice inflection. most will take uit as your true answer, i know, that is their problem not yours right? if you can not give a straight answer to anything, why should anyone take anything you say as anything less than satire?

In my opinion, he states "it was satire" simply to deflect the blame back on the readers...

Like hitting you with a pipe then saying; "I was only kidding." and then keep on doing it over and over again. As long as you'll accept his excuse, he'll keep doing it. Remember, he's the one who came here under false pretenses, used a fake name old photo, denied his identity and then when pegged, admitted he was he was trolling the forum for information for SC. We won't even bring up his unverifiable accusations and inventions that he tosses out like candy and even admits HE can't prove. While he claims I had an "expansion to 6 systems in weeks" he can't produce the post, he can't produce squat but he wants you to believe him like it's gospel?

Of course now that he's been caught and stepped all over himself, he excuses it away by calling it "satire?" Right.... he's simply an unfortunate "victim"... again... and again.... and again.

He wasn't honest about who he was or why he was here to start with, I'm not about to believe him now, but your mileage may vary.

I found a long time ago with certain people that straight answers never suffice, when agenda's and personalities are involved any answer no matter how innoccuous will be taken and twisted to try and give it a different meaning to fit the agenda of the person reading/responding to it.

Way back when computers were really starting to take off as karaoke systems I was disc based people had already been using Goldenhawk to copy their disc (supposedly for backup and I stated many times that it was piracy or would be contributing to piracy) I said then that the computer use was going to do the same thing only on a much larger scale. many of the computer "gurus" said BS it won't happen because it is simply too expensive for most people to be able to afford computer systems to KJ with. within a couple of years we started seeing people comment on how they were switching to computer systems, then we started seeing comments of those who were suddenly running 3, 4, 5, and 6 systems overnight. When I saw these conversations on JOLT to be honest my blood was boiling and that is when I started making the satirical comments about joining the darkside and becoming a pirate myself.

The satire had started!

I had even attempted to put a computer system together and paid over $2400 to have a computer built for that purpose, the problem was not being computer savy I spent a lot of time ripping disc (over 9 months) only to find out I wasn't doing it right and had a bunch of music files with no lyrics screen, the help I got from the "karaoke computer experts" was to tell me I was an idiot. So I gave up on that idea sold that computer system and stuck with disc for two more years. Then at the Richmond Jolt convention someone with a computer system explained to me (so I could understand) what was needed and how the files were ripped, a year or so later I had a decent system set up with a lot less investment than I had started out with, I spent another year trying to convert my laser disc but I gave up on that idea and went ahead and put my computer system to work.

I know you don't really care about this information, but I thought I would go ahead and clarify the history.

Again, ad nauseum, my problem is with SC giving passes, not with you- at least in that regard.

No, you were banned for exactly what you are doing here: TROLLING.
You are a liar and a hypocrite. You've called others pirates with no foundation in fact and have then gone on to prove yourself to be less than upstanding regarding 1:1 compliance (ie: SC8125 - I was there for those posts, too!).

And for the record, I for one, recall exactly what Joe C. is talking about regarding the hall passes. I was there too, and I have yet to see an inaccuracy in what he has said so far.
Remember people, if you don't feed the trolls, they do tend to go away.

For some reason all the pirates seem to agree with Joe too, but that doesn't make it so.

I know I'm not a pirate, and I'm pretty confident that neither is Joe, Chip, or anyone else here.

Once again proving that you think that anyone not aligned with SC's unethical methodology- which you use to attempt to get rid of any competition, whether pirate OR NOT ( I guess you're not as good a host as I've been giving you credit for all these years- can't do it on skill) is a pirate supporter, as you have constantly posted.

Well, Steve ( again, now that you admit who you are...) I'll keep my ethics, and depend on my hosting skills to wipe out the competition- so far, so good.

Now, if we can find a way to keep SC from screwing with venues....

I find "generally" I can see a lot better if I don't put my hand in front of my face, but that is just me!

You've accused MANY people directly, on MORE than one occasion and I won't even count the times you've insinuated as such, without a shred of evidence to go on. You're nothing but a lousy troll.

In the post I made here which you were responding too I didn't say who I thought the pirates were! The other post you qouted, I was saying who I know the pirates are (or were) there is a little difference there!

And you "know" I am / were a pirate... how?

What proof do you have?

I'm calling you out right here .... either put up some real evidence or shut up.

Just for the record, I don't believe you can do either one.

You appear to be purposely stirring the pot just hoping to get banned.... then of course, you'll act like some kind of mistreated victim and whine to the world how unfair everyone is toward little old you...

But simply keep in mind that YOU were the one who came here with a FALSE IDENTITY and then DENIED IT several times. YOU are the one who claimed you were here ONLY to surreptitiously gather information on behalf of a manufacturer (perhaps more).

I'd say that was trolling too... and you appear to be proud of it.
