I came down extra special early tonight to record this for some folks. I'm doing the same thing Eric Godfrey did, and making a quick video about my collection.



6400 songs from what over 444 self ripped, self named CDG's (imperfections and all, never once grabbed a "clean" version from any p2p), a SC diamond set of 3000 songs, and finally about 360 tricerasoft downloads.

If someone wants to pour through it, I'm not going anywhere. I get down to 7 Bamboo Wednesday - Saturday usually around 8pm till close. Any Manu or KJ is welcome to stop by and check during those hours.

Not me- I'm in business to make money. An audit will cost the auditor the same as my smallest private event- $125/hour, 4 hour minimum- $500 dollars.

My time is as valuable as theirs is. I don't do freebies.

And to the KIAA companies.

Your entire strategy of converting pirate KJ's to legit ones is tantamount to making housewives out of whores and husbands out of pimps. You're making deals with the very devils that have put you out of business. It's not tech's fault. When you do make housewives out of whores, are they respectable? Just look at how they act!

You should be using tech to put them out of jobs. Replace them with a jukebox, and take that income they used to have. Done deal.

Like I said, come and get it guys. We'll film it. We'll have a few IP lawyers there too for fun (Robin Gross anyone? She's only 50 miles north of me, I'm sure she'll attend for a few bucks)

You know though.. This isn't a challenge to your authority guys. (I'm still talking about the KIAA companies) I want to turn this around. I've talked to all of you, every single of one of you in person. Let's seriously make a caucus out of this. Film it, make it part of Tal's documentary. Let's show the world your audit isn't a draconian thing.

And for gods sake, you're coming out here. I'm done chasing you guys at NAMM and all over the country. I've done 5 NAMM trips and a trip to the KIAA formation meeting. Show me some courtesy. Let's put this process out in the open so the few legit KJ's that are scared of it won't be. Let me be a beacon of light to the land of milk and honey for them.

A lot of folks are pointing out the ingenuousness of you cheerleaders. I can be that one cheerleader that put everything in a positive light for you, I have nothing to hide and welcome you here anytime.

Since I'm 100% automated, I'm bored at work now. I still get paid the same ($1000@mo) but I'm starting to find I need more to do.

Technically, if I were doing it during show hours, I'd be getting paid for it =)

How about a sticky for that as well. The biggest cheerleaders around are little more than shills and mouthpieces for some manufacturers who feel it's too uncomfortable to have to answer questions about thier own questionable pasts. Get down wit your bad self, Toqer.

No one has said that just because someone has not been through an audit that they are evil, the only thing I have said is that it wouldn't be cool to be put on the vetted list if you haven't first been vetted. Which if you look at it logically you would see the point.

I am curious to how any legit KJ can say that what has been stated by any and all of the audited KJs on the subject of the audits can be scaring anyone, much to the contrary everyone of us has stated how simple and easy it is to go through you just put your disc in order by disc manu and sequence numbers open up your karaoke folder and hand them a book. as they call out songs and disc from your hard drive you show the disc and move on to the next one.

But you really are getting bent out of shape over it all. As I said before over and over again, if someone is legit they have nothing to worry about how is that scaring any legit KJs?

Who has insinuated anything about you being legit or not, I certainly haven't (unless you think my saying anyone who is listed as a certified KJ on the manus sites needs to be certified) why the anger?

I heard about a KJ that's growing weed in his home.
I think all KJs' homes should be searched until we find out who it is.
The law abiding KJs have nothing to worry about.
And after they are searched we'll give them a sticker that says "weed free" to make them feel better.

I would think there is some forum rule about trying to post personal information about another member without permission, even if you get it wrong.

I'm not hiding here, I'm sure there are tracks of me all over the internet and someone so inclined could find me. But to make an effort to "out" me with the hopes I would be intimidated or humiliated is wrong, and perhaps a crime!

I see no reason to turn this into an unfriendly forum full of personal attacks. Most here are content with an intellectual discussion and not afraid of opposing view points. You won't persuade anyone to your point of view with insults and personal attacks.
