Yeah try and find a store that lets you listen to them before you buy them.
You can go to www.priddis.com and listen to the priddis songs before you buy em. You can also go to www.stellarrecords.com if you want to listen to Pop Hits monthly's songs or www.pocketsongs.com for pocket songs. Then decide before you buy em :). Even Sound Choice has started putting up "some" sound clips of their CDGs.

I've been real impressed with the Star Disc line as of the last couple years! Many of the so called coasters have come around!

The newer POP HITS MONTHLY are great. They sound very good.

I've got the entire Pop Hits lineup since they began... only missing a couple cds here and there.

and many from 95, 96 and on up are STILL played from time to time.
