It's Sunday again and we do not have a new Genre of the week. I really enjoyed this idea ( even though I may have whined about it a little  ) And we had great participation IMO. It was really nice to see people 'stepping out of their box' as Allstar had originally stated. ( I applaud you Allstar for the great idea )
I would really like to see us continue this idea.
I had once posted an idea of having a poll each week to vote for which
genre you want for the next week.
I would be willing to post this each Monday to run through Friday for the Genre the following week. Each week would have the Genre from the following week taken out of the poll until the following month......I can do this just as soon as I figure out how 
Or if anyone has an idea for a Genre, just post it and see what kind of respose you get.
Does anyone else want to continue the Genre of the Week or am I the only one?

I applaud you Allstar for the great idea I'm blushing
I have given it a shot and got burned on the stack with the Disco genre 
Now it's someone elses turn! I will abide by the law (even if it kills me, like show tunes).

I made a suggestion before that we do 50's music. It might be kinda fun.

I thought we banned 'burning on the stake' on this site. Pillary, now that should be your fate for the whole Disco thing.... 
50's is a GREAT IDEA!!! Let's just run with that...who ever is in...is in...the rest be darned, or pillaried..pillarized...pillariated...whatever - lets sing.

Hmmm - Should I create a Genre called 50s?
Also, I just responded to a PM from NHOH stating that we would have no "genre of the Week' should I go ahead and make this it?

I replied to Phil stating ~please change latest submission page to say~Genre of the week is 50's music.~ So I guess a decision is made.

Any song recorded in the 50's or just the doo-wop stuff?
Gonna be a little difficult if it's doo-wop...hmmm... time to start doing a LOT of looking...
