Good Evening...

In an effort to educate myself about the various manufacturers of Karaoke equipment, my question is this: Who makes the best sounding karaoke machine? The application is primarily for home use, but want a system that sounds every bit as good as the systems I hear in the clubs. I would love to hear from the experts what you think the best player is, assuming money is no object, and then the player you put in the "best bang for the buck" category. Thanks for any feedback offered.

If it's just for home use i'd go with either the JVC SV22 - this one plays cdg's, vcd's & cd's. Or the RSQ 505 which also plays DVD's. These players will run you anywhere from $200 - $250. Sometimes you can find them on sale WITH a song pack as well.

Sound systems are a totally different from the Karaoke players. The player gets hooked up into the Sound System (in your case, probably into your Home Stereo System). So, that will only sound as good as you Home Stereo System sounds.

The JVC CDG Player will give you years of good service (as Lonnie just recommended).
