I don't get it.... Why is it so hard for some people to look at themselves honestly??? I was just in the SS and one of our members offered another some very constructive criticism and the response of the singer was very rude. Basically the singer told the commenter that most of us on this site are not worthy of critiquing someone as professional as the the singer claims to be. The critique was very well worded and seemed to be given with the intention to help the singer. In fact... the person critiquing went out of their way to make that intention clear.

It's this kind of attitude that makes it hard for us to know who to be honest with and who just wants to be told that they are good even if they aren't. Frankly, I don't have the time to play those kind of games. If you don't want to know what we think then don't submit your songs. There is a reason for that comment box and it isn't to blow smoke up the A**es of insecure people. If you submit your songs some of us will comment honestly...... whether you want it or not. We may not be professionals but we might have some good advice occasionally.

If you can't stand the heat ....Stay out of the fireplace.


I just had to say something because it really makes me mad.

I just want to say to the critic that I welcome that kind of honesty and hope you will give me the same consideration when listening to my subs.

And for the singer..I will comment on every song you sub from now on and it will be the truth good or bad (not just what you want to hear)

Wannabe that is so true.....I'm here for the fun of it and if someone says something alittle negative, I know they are saying it only to help me out and not to put my singing down!
I think people are taking this site a little bit to serious and it's ashame cause this site is daaa funest site on the net I have ever come so far and don't think I will fine another so great as this!! Everyone on here has a place in my heart...cause I have a big one and no one will even have to stand plenty of room for all!!!! BBQ

IMHO you are one of the few people on this site just for fun as we all claim to be. I have to admit I take it a bit too seriously a lot of the time and it's good to have people like you who know how to make it fun for everyone. Most people on this site have a very healthy sense of humor about themselves and we all joke with each other, but the few who can't laugh at themselves and have to put others down to feel good about themselves can sure make it hard for everyone else.
