I have already purchased the E1,E2, E3, and E4 from chartbusters and I also have about 250 other songs from other companies. Does anyone have any good advice on my next big purchase of CDG's??? I am having a hard time determining what is the next type of songs to purchase. Most people in our area sing country (old and new) and 70-80's pop rock. Does anyone have any good suggestions for a beginning KJ???

Thanks

The Sound Choice bricks work into your requirements.

Start by buying Brick 5 and work your way back.

Thanks, I appreciate the responses. It always helps having information from people who have been doing this awhile.

But keep in mind you will more than likely be duplicating a lot of what you already have in the chartbuster essentials packs. I have both, and while I prefer the sound choice over the chartbuster, they are almost essentially duplicates of each other. you may gain 500 songs if you have both the rest will be duplicates.

QowboyVern - Don't you realize copying and selling your collection of CDG's is illeagle? Go post your crap elsewhere, if you don't get caught first.

In building your library I don't think there are any tricks...
You just have to decide on a starter package and MFG and build from there.....Duplicates can be your biggest waste of money but unfortunately SOME duplicates are unavoidable .... Stay with the "packs" in building your "CORE" set and then you can add on as your customers preferences call for...... There are some very good deals out there for "b" type cdgs
GOOD TO START YOU UP but not the "A" list like (Sound Choice etc)

Good Luck

to hitwtom regarding qowboy-illegal? then why is software sold to consumers that allows them to do it? plus there are several people out there doing it in my area and not making as much as the 'legal' companys that are charging $5 a song (which is a rip-off)-it's the same thing-a business license makes it legal dude...

Just because the technology exists to copy, doesn't make it legal. Look at NAPSTER and KAZAA and the lawsuits etc. CDG's are copyrighted material just like regular music CD's. It is even a gray area weather or not you can copy to a hard drive (a KJ copying his collection to a computer to use for his shows) or even to back-up your collection. The companies selling custom disks for $5 a song, own the copyrights, ie Sound Choice, Chartbuster etc. I have a business license to run a Bar, that doesn't mean I can make my own moonshine and sell it.
