Is it safe and possible to run powered speakers through a powered mixer?

Powerful enough to do a gig with non-powered speakers, flexible enough to run a bigger system as well.

Yes, connect your powered speakers to the ST OUT L/R jacks on the top of the mixer. The on-board power amp outputs are located on the rear of the unit.
Do NOT connect powered speakers to the SpeakOn or 1/4" jacks on the back.
