I could read some comments and rank made on some songs of others singers, and me, by this person.

SPROCKET made a new topic about honesty about rank a song.
To what I agree completly.

BUt unfortunately his rank and comments on some artists are not honest or fair.

And today after I commented one of his songs, he came on my french submission : TU TROUVERAS, and for a person asking for honesty, said something agains't what he wrote !

" high in key, according to one of my assistant who as just a cd coming out in french, she said the french needs some more work ".

1) what is the name of u r assistant, I would like to listen to her, and tell the name of her CD, in FRANCE ? !
About the comment she thinks : the french needs some more work !

I could accept a comment concerning my english or spanish, but not about my french, cause I know perfectly the FRENCH ! This is my principal languague ! So please don't ever tell something about my french MISTER , cause in this point u r out of the honesty u try to show! This is just contradiction ands revenge.

U try to give an image of someone that is pro, I work in recording studios, I have also lots of artists known, do I change my personality ? Do I think I am best than the others ?
Man stop u r comedy, u know u need to learn to sing, cause u r really out of key, do u think money or working on music gives u the talent ???????

So, please try stop to know more than the others and showing publicity for u r services !

Do u think me upset ? Not at all, just expressing my self about u r behavior !

So in the future stop come listening to my songs, u r comments are not welcome....

Si cela est vrai en somme je n'en sais rien, je ne te connais pas. Ce que je sais et que je pourrais ajouter à ce genre de commentaire que je clarifierais de diffamation qui peut aller loin entre nous ! Si vraiment tu es française ou connait la langue française tu n'auras donc aucun soucis à comprendre ce que je suis entrain d'écrire et qu'aucun traducteur sur le net ne ferais aussi bien que moi même !

Maintenant le commentaire de dire que je dois travailler mon français permets moi donc d'en rire ! Comme tu peux le constater j'ai parfaite maîtrise de la langue française, et ce n'est donc ni un fantasme ni un rêve, mais bel et bien une réalité !

Si tu chante aussi bien le français que tes commentaires, permets moi de te dire que tu vas droit vers une grande chute qui te fera mal !

Sur ce je ne salut pas les gens sans aucunes importances pour moi qui de surcroît disent n'importe quoi !

Sprocket is a perfect example of what I was tryng to say in the "poll" section. "Constructive criticism" is always welcomed but, I agree with Freewildspirit, that doesn't seem to be what Sprocket is giving to most people.
I have not ranked Sprockets songs as I didn't want it to seem like I was "revenge ranking". I wouldn't have given the ones I heard, a 10 and I didn't have any constructive criticism that would help or encourage him, so I just listened and moved on.
I would hope that Sprocket would decide to do the same thing instead of leaving , rude, non-helpful, unencouraging comments. For someone who is suppose to have experience with professionals, his actions do not reflect that as such.
As stated in my "poll" posting, my vote was for anyone to be able to rank. I had hoped that people would use common sense and leave comments that are constructive and encouraging. I still feel that way.
Unfortunately, since Sprockets ranks and comments are neither, than they would just be ones that I would view as irrelevant. I feel badly that things have to be that way.

I think I am not the only one feeling the same, and u r reply reminds me that i was right.

Like i said I can accept real comment from someone with talent ( and damn they are a lot over here ! ), and that knows to sing, not from someone that need to learn to sing!

I am here in same nivel as everybody, not thinking I am the BEST, I do know that I have a voice, a certain talent, but don't considere me above the others, and my comments and rank are in consideration about my feelings, when I listen to a song.

LIke Sherokee wrote so well, we all are here for sharing, and the goal of this web site, is that everyone be a friend to the other and share the experience, and be fair not REVENGE or be bad. But I know that it stills a dream......

I can't understand why some people don't recognize the talent of the others, but acting like a jalousy feeling.

I am LATINA, and I am human and always ready to help or share, and some people shows me the contrary of my action, and yes I need to express my self in those moments, but after all I don't need these kinds of criticism from people with no talent.

I'm going to explain something once..
I'm a very to the point person.. I don't sugar coat anything. I call it like I see it, and I don't sugar coat the candy, Some times the pill may be bitter but that's life if you go to the "Real World of the recording industry. I have been there, and do it if I'm not running my KJ business. You won't find any sympathy from me.. But I definately won't be handing out any 1's or 0's like I have seen. I feel that's a little heartless,a nd singers deserve something for submitting thier song.. But the 10's are definately overkill. ya gotta have a song that is radio airplayable to get one from me.
And that takes alot. I have said that before. and for those that think they are "experts".. and can score down.. submit a song and i'll show ya what's all about. I'll give ya an honest rating. I defiantely won't BS ya.
because the 10's are definately BS.

MISTER Brian, the professionnal of everything in this web site, that knows everything more than the others...

I think u r so frustrated to realise how much people over here are talented, and in comparison to ur non-existant talent can obviously give you the greatest frustration.

You decide that you know, because u r running u r own business, let me tell you that u r loosing potential customers, cause u show all a professional must not show : CATASTROPHIC FAULTS .

IN despit u r beautiful words, I wonder why a so great talented and professionnal person doing here, cause we're not enought good for u r ears ! What u don't understand it's that u r comments are ridiculous as u r behavior, u r not a professional, like I said MONEY don't buy a talent .

I think u need a web site, only for u, and for untalented singers like u, u could appreciate the comments and be the STAR over there, cause I think the NIVEL here is too much higher for u.

In fact, u only take time to critizice good singers, and Brian they are a lot here, I feel happy to meet and listen to better singers than me, it help, do am I frustrated ?

If you are as talented as you believe.. E-mail me your burnable original demo on Mp3 with a letter of permission to do so. With a Bio & promo photo If it Meets my booking agent's qualification's they will forward it to the same management agencies I am trying to sign into.. there about 45 agencies I have demos and Videos out to.. Complete with a New CD.

They only do people who have developed talent.
By the way send your references in that packet too. They will want to contact them. I will have nothing to do with personally handling this as there has been too many issues in this, other than passing this on.

I'll even pay thier fee to do so.

I score on the level. I really don't have anything against you personally, that song had everything I look for in a "Perfect song". I would like to hear more like that.

All I have to say is that it is kinda funny that he tells me that my song did not sound 'exactly like Shania' but when I comment that he sounds like the original artist he says that is not what he is trying to sound like.

DUH! Why the heck would I want to sing like Shania? I like her songs, but she has an awful voice. I don't ever want to sound like her.

And secondly, I feel sorry for all your clients if you have any at all. You can't even sing on key, and obviously have no clue what pitch is, so I can just imagine how horrible your client's stuff sounds. And when it comes to your recordings, it sounds like you sat at your computer for five minutes and just threw something down.

You are no where near a professional by the comments you have made on this site, and I feel sorry for anyone that pays money to have their stuff prodcued by you.

Oh, and I have no problem with constructive critisim from people who actually know what they are talking about. But, your comments are just unrealistic and have no backing as your stuff is not that great either.

FIRST
You fail to see the reality that the singer's showcase is mainly for fun and I'd NEVER post a Professional track here for anything in the world.

Second I have so far this year alone over 5 listings in the Professional Audio Trade Magazine "Pro Sound News" of just the sessions that I personally engineered of "Up and Coming" Label acts. Mind you A WORLD WIDE Trade magazine for the recording and live sound trades.

Third I have been nominated for 2 awards in the last year internationally.. for my original work one as a artist and the other a songwriter.. I do not go to certain award events of course, I did not even recieve them.

FINALLY Please if you ever wish to doubt our capabilities are here, Come and see for your self. and Bring an open mind. I think we'd rock your world.. Communicating the internet is so inpersonal and misunderstood especially when you have to explain your comments in very few words. Everybody does thier songs differently.. Nobody here knows if you are trying to sound like original artist or not.. I know I don't . not now not ever I just do it my way and move on. My originals hit the mark and I write them for me. right on the 1,6,7,1. (some of the pros will know the numbers and what they mean)

Anyway I do wish you luck, remember this showcase has no prizes and is not life or death.. but if you want a prize, I'll send you one if you want it.

The next time you say something like this on someone's submission, don't call yourself a professional, because a professional does not say stuff like that on a "FUN" site.

And thanks for the compliment, because it sounds like from you they are few and far between. Stop being so mean and ligthen up. If you would never post a "professional" recording on this site, don't expect everyone else to be as "professional" as you say you are. we do this for fun and don't deserve comments like above. Most people put lots of time and effort into their recordings and weather they are perfect or horribly pitchy or horribly recorded, they tried.

If you want to put down some professional opinions and be "brutally honest" go find yourself some other sites to cut people down on. That is all I have to say on this matter, because there is no use in arguing. If you want to go and "revenge rate" my subs, go ahead. I don't really care.
