I have a huge collection of purchased downloaded software karaoke songs. Each song consists of 2 files: songname.cdg and songname.mp3. The software player sees the cdg file and when loaded plays both files to give the music and lyrics in sync. How can I take that library of songs and use them on my new Karaoke Machine (which plays CDG Karaoke discs)?

Thanks!

do a search on the web for MP3TOOLZ and buy it! It'll convert to .bin, and then CDRwin3.9 at goldenhawk.com will make that a .cdg disc (.bin files)

you can ALSO convert backwards from .bin to .mp3g and put them in zip files as well.

Thanks Matt! I tried the other night to get that MP3Toolz thing but it is like a Developer FTP site and was going at 35Bytes. It never finished!

I was wondering if there was any freeware or other free software that would allow me to do this? I am not planning to get any more of those software files so really it is a one time need to convert the ones I have. You're saying I have to conver the MP3 and accompanying CDG into one .bin file? If I then just data copy the bin files to a CD-R will it work or does it take something else to make them work?

Thnks for your help!!

Glenn

just a one-time conversion.

I think there's several sites that have that program... it's on the "kicksazz" one... the site is moving slow??
