Most people just get up and leave and nevr say a thing.
They just never return.
Most people don not like confrontations of any kind so it's easier just to leave.

Again, I have to disagree. Most of us were singers first and THAT'S WHY we run the rotations we run.
Because we KNOW how it feels.
If anything, our knowledge of how shows are run tends to lead us to cut the KJ's some extra slack that we wouldn't normally, if we had been "average" customers.

Or charging less than the current company - that one didn't seem to play in you equation. I lost a few gigs due to this & when they called me back when they found the current undercutter didn't deliver, they found my price had increased. They either paid it or found someone else.

Dangerous,

I do give the man a great deal of credit for his business acumen, particularly his marketing savy, but I do not attribute to him the level of success you do. And while the KJ's I associate with, including my partner, have nothing complimentary to say about him, I have found some marketing techniques of his that I admire and intend to emulate. After discussing them with my partner, he is now looking forward to our attempts at doing something similar.

Dan, it's annoying to find, once again, that some poster's have not read the entire thread! And this reality commonly exists on this forum. And what makes that so troublesome is that it leads to people misquoting, misreading, "going off half-cocked" and having unnecessary arguments

And if you had read my posts, Dan, I do not think that you would "have gotten on" Bruce! And you would know that this man's success is not necessarily a reflection of the actual results he provides venues, and Lonman would know if he gets his jobs through price-cutting!
