Goodday all, I'm a karaoke forum lurker and addict, and as the system has changed, i guess its finally time for me to say hello.

I'm a KJ in devon, England running a small business with one member of staff who occassionally covers my gigs if i'm doing a cabaret show.

Away from karaoke I can be found drinking tea and coffee throughout the southwest, i spend most of my time wrapped up in the world of music, stopping only to eat, play and stroll along the beach... My slightly biased bookself indicates that I gave have a passion for tarot, feminism, gender theory, sex and soiciety, though the anthologys of useless information and several joke books outway the serious stuff 110%.


As I tend to be a "lurker" in forums... you may not hear a lot from me, but i'm usuually about in the middle of thread with my feet up on a table drinking a cup of tea.

That would be my ideal...a solitary practitioner living in a thatched cottage is my idea of heaven

I wish i did live in a thatched cottage, but alas no, i'm living in the worlds smallest flat with my partner...

however it is ground floor, and the car can be parked within 30cm of the door, so loading equipment in and out is a dream and it's also a five minute walk to the sea, so in my opinion, I'm living the true rock and roll dream.

As for the tarot, i haven't read for year, i'm not focused enough, my business is going though a lot of changes and although i'm sticking to my morals, and doing what i feel makes a good show, but I have had two landlords disagree with it and it does make you question the way you do things.

Life goes in circles though, so things will be on the up soon, and maybe i'll refind my focus for the tarot on the way.

I'll head over to the other forums and share my issues with you all shortly... i could do with some others opinions and i have a lot of repect for the view points found on this site.

I'm also a coffee/tea person. I'm sipping on expresso right now. I love the way you express yourself in a post. Maybe it is all that book reading. Your posts are a pleasure, you should post more often. I'm so glad you were goaded to come out from behind the curtains.
