I'm looking for a blue and pink version. I've bought one already that said it was a Tim McGraw/ Faith Hill duet but wasn't.

Once a year maybe I get a couple that wants to sing it as a duet and it happened last night. And the embarrassing thing is that it's usually a couple that sits there and watches everyone else sing for hours and then gets the courage to do something. And this is what they bring up.

I'm putting a custom SC disc together and I'm assuming that this one is a true duet, right? Or is there something else that would work just as well or you guys like better?

I'm assuming that there is a duet of this ballad. Is that correct?
The only one I remember is Tim McGraw singing lead with wife on harmony only.

Bill: We have a regular who always asks me to sing this song with him. I don't think we've ever sung to an official duet version - I just know where the harmony is and jump in. Same with "Closer to Fine" by Indigo Girls. My version says duet but there is nothing to indicate the second part. I just jump in and sing it. It'd be nice to have the real duet versions of both for others who may not know the song so well, though.

Bill, make certain it says by both artists!

My very first Custum disc, I made that mistake with that very song, and I got a solo Tim McGraw song with a Faith Hill singer added in! P*SSED me OFF!!!

I'd personally CALL SC and ask them how to request that!

Bill I use the Country Hits Monthly version (Pop Hits Nashville before they renamed the disc line). The KJPro disc number is CHM9706 and it has both the solo version as Track 11 and the duet version which is a bonus on Track 21. It's an excellent track although I'm sure it would be very difficult to find since it's so old :(

:D I saw the subject heading and thought at first that "It's Your Love in Blue and Pink" was the name of a song!

Bill,
I actually was just looking at this. I used to sing it a lot with a lady friend. It's a Soundchoice disk, pretty good version too. Disc number SC7595. I saw it in their Foundations II. Blue and Pink.

Thanks Robbie! I'm putting a custom disc order together from SC Australia and will include the McGraw/Hill track number. I've checked the site and thy have one listed that way.

they do Bill, but BE CAREFUL. The very first custom I ordered from SC had that track, and I didn't get the duet, but instead a solo of Tim with Faith's part added in!

Yes Sound Choice has 2 versions of that out. One is originally on Spotlight 8382 - MALE only with the Faith part already recorded - but WAS listed as Tim McGraw/Faith Hill in their listing. And the Foundation 2 set that is the duet version with pink & blue distinction.
On the custom site it is listed as just Tim McGraw for the male only then the duet is listed as Tim McGraw/Faith Hill.
