There is one place, I'm told that has karaoke with a live band. As one might expect, the amount of material available to sing is limited. However, that's definitely a new experience I plan to partake in during my next trip! I like Ellis Island, not just for the karaoke, but for the food and the prices!

If I recall correctly it is Mandalay Bay that has the live band karaoke, but don't hold me to that.

I believe the Bar you are referring to is House of Blues (in Mandalay Bay).

Yeah, they have what's called ROCKSTAR KARAOKE at the House Of Blues - Mandalay Bay. I've never been there but I have friends who have and it is indeed live band karaoke.

Now I HAVE been to Ellis Island. The main appeal of this venue is that they have karaoke seven nights a week. Personally, I consider this venue to be HIGHLY overrated. A MEDIOCRE show at best.

Sorry that I am asking this so much after your post, but...

What makes you say the show at Ellis Island is/was "mediocre, at best"?

I went to Ellis once, and I enjoyed it. I actually felt that the show there was decent. The KJ operated fairly, which I feel is important.

Hi guys!

I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas...what a blast!! I had never been there before so I was blown away by how crazy it is. There are so many awesome venues to watch shows, and I would recommend seeing a show. Here is a guide I found that helped me find the best shows and venues: Vegas Shows Guide

Have a great trip!!
