Hi. I am having trouble. I am hooking up The Singing Machine STVD-1001 for the 1st time and everything looks fine.......but I cannot hear the music nor hear myself in the mic. The sound just isn't working. I can very very faintly hear the music but no matter how much it is turned up it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Thank you. I received a manual with it but no amount of trouble shooting is helping......and yes, it is turned up. haha! Oh well, I will just keep messing around. I'm sure it's going to be something silly that I am just missing. Thanks for the reply.

It usually is something simple--check your audio inputs and outputs, make sure you have not reversed them.

is there an AUX setting... sometimes when you can barely hear the music, it's because the input isn't set right.
