I'm jealous...I have to wait awhile on that outlay of $$...but it will come in the near future for me too. Am currntly adding lighting.
I don't think you could go wrong with either one but I am partial to Mackie, but then again I have heard only good about EV equipment.

The Mackie will be a better match overall since you are already using the 450's. But also the specs on the Mackie exceed the EV & the Mackie is cheaper. The EV is still a good sub if you can get it cheaper - either will still fill the bill nicely.
