True story... .....We were in a bar, and a co-worker of mine(he's a biker dude) was arguing with a rather rotund biker chick, and evidently, she had had enough of his lip. Now she unlatched that pair of jeans she was wearing, reached deep down into the bellows of them garments, and pulled out a huge, discolored, cotton plug, that'd bring tears to your eyes, and flung it full force at my buddy. He calmly picks it up, and then commences to take a bite out of it, and starts chewing.....everybody starts roaring, she stands there in amazement, and that was the end of that argument......I swear, no exageration........ ....still today he says, even after a few million beers, he still can't seem to get the taste outta his mouth...... ........to think this all started with an all too cute picture of Charm's grandson.......

I agree......It's all Charmin's fault.

Here is a pic from Sky at Halloween... it was her first year actually "trick or treating".... she has only ever dressed up and gave OUT candy before:)  We went with a friend (her son is there, he is Sky's age, has cerebral palsy) Sky was dressed as "Barbie, the Dancing Princess" (Sooooo not MY idea!)

Kids here don't SAY trick or treat though... they just hold out their candy sacs and say either "Des Bonbons, svp", or "HALLOWEEN!".... Lol... When Sky said "trick or treat" it was like she was saying "Hi! I'm an Anglophone!":)

Gilly..... My lands, she's cute even as a long haired blondie;) It's cool that she got to go out finally. Tucker is too young to really get much of a bang out of Halloween. But for the last few weeks I've been trying to teach him to say "trick or treat"... he says quite a few words, but he wouldn't say it. So, Halloween night I'm sure he was thinking "oh, THAT'S what grandma meant".  LMAO

I'm doing good. Grandbaby #2 is about to be born, don't know if it's a boy or girl yet, but she's due any day.  I guess I'm officially going from "Gramma" to "Granny".

How's life in the frozen outback treating you? You don't poke your head in here very often any more... nice to see ya again. (and geesh, I'm glad SOMEone posted another pic finally in this thread)  LOL

I wish I would have dressed up, but I was in the midst of being sick and wasn't planning to go at all. Last minute we decided to swing by there after going out to dinner cause I wanted to see all my friends' costumes. (glad I did, cause I got to rub up against Elvis... yes, he's alive, and he came to my local karaoke joint to celebrate Halloween)  LMAO

But I just dressed as me, my usual sweatshirt and jeans bum self:)

Yes, Keith, baby #2 is on it's way. I think it's a boy, but I'm hoping it's a girl... I've got some secrets to pass on to her.  :whistle:

I've got another grandbaby about ready to make an appearance too Charm, Shannon (my youngest) is scheduled for a C-Section on the 13th but she's been having contractions on and off over the last several days and has started to dilate already so it'll be any day now.  It's a girl (hope ya get one too!)  :hug:


I've been "Granny" over 11 years now .  My grandson had, and I'm not kidding here, 11 sets of Grandparents, Great Grandparents and Great Great Grandparents when he was born.  It was the only name not taken

Heya Charmin!

Frozen is right... it ALREADY snows here all the time.... ACK, there was a snow man on my front yard two days ago:)  Things are great-- But I am SUPER busy.... I take French full time, and am gone all day from 8- 3... and with a kid that gets on the bus at 7 (we wake up at 5:30, HER at 6:00), and home at 4.... and then do HER homework, and then MINE, and supper, and bedtime and... ACK! I NEVER get online! (Plus, I experience too much French... I NEVER get to converse in English, this is great:)  Justin goes away in January (AGAIN!) until the beginning of June.....So, I will  be left here alone in the TERRIBLE winter, in French land;)


Sky is growing up fast.... scary!

Here are some recent pics (the first is the first day back to school this year. She is in Grade 1 (goes to an English immersion school...)..... The rest are wedding shots- She was the flower girl in my sister's wedding (had to drive to NS for TWO days... ACK!! But, I think she looks adorable!:)

And ANOTHER Grandbaby!! Ack, not for MY mine... I got Justin snipped AGES ago.... no more little babies for me!:)
