Are CAVS song versions on the computerized CAVS systems particularly prone to playing out of sync -- lyrics displayed way ahead of the audio? Just curious.  One of our local karaoke spots has a CAVS system and this is a frequent problem.  I've seen many singers frantically trying to get their timing right when singing along to several of the CAVS tracks.

it is with the older cavs 99... and I heard the 199 OCCASSIONALLY did... depends on the processor in the machine. Some I've seen work fine... others, yup, they're f'd up!

Makes for some cool entertainment on some nights though, eh Odie?  LMAO

I would sure never try a song on that Cavs system if it was a totally new one for me....   ..... I don't usually need the lyrics for cue, but I've seen quite a few people bite the dust on that machine.

I have a JB-99 (my old system) and there are only a couple songs i ever noticed it on. But Ive seen lyrics out of sync on all kinds of systems, be it disk, cavs or puter if the track was made or riped to digital out of sync it will always be out of sync. it doesnt have to be a junk track either ive seen sound choice tracks that wouldnt sync

It depends on if you're using their preloaded songs. I erased theirs and put my own discs on mine.
I have a Cavs JB199 and have had no problems with sinc issues on it. Of course I am using my own songs.

On my Cavs DVD 203G USB I sort of have the opposite problem. My graphics change color a little behind the music on some songs, not all. It is very slight, but I notice it. I hook a external drive to the 203G and haven't figured out why the delay.
