There is a problem with firefox since the patch... you must dump all of the cache's  in order for Quicktime to work after the 11/14 patch from MS...

There are 2 or three of them...I don't knoow the names exactly since I use IE7, but you can look it up online...
throw them into the recycle bin and empty the trash...all should be good again with FF...
