Anyone besides me having trouble getting replys to song submissions stay put?
Ive been replying to my comments....but they are 'poofing off into 'inter'space.

Girl I have probs with those cyber gremlins munchin' my comments all the time!  Not sure what the prob is but it's purdy dayumed frustrating  :grumble:

Replys this may be caused by several items:

1) You are not properly logged in to SS

2) You were logged in but it had been awhile and the system kicked you out.

3) The Cyber-Gremlins are eating your replies and comments (I heard that they were mighty tasty) This probably isn't the case but thought I would through it out there just in case.

I have a sub up here that says I have 4 comments. I make it a point to thank every single one but on this particular sub it only shows 3 comments. whasup???

Paddy...there have been a few times that thew comments didn't match up to the number it said I had- someone had edited their initial comment and that changed the count- Go back and check to see if anyone had added an "edit" or  a "PS" It might have even been me

you have to watch out you can get "logged off" anytime off this site and not know it. when the site is real busy you can be kicked off if no activity for only a few minutes even.  If your screen has been up for a while, click on refresh before you do anything to check. I also have a habit of typing in a comment or reply, then type cntrl-A to select all the text I just typed, then type cntl-C to copy it to the clipboard. If the comment or reply disappears, then I log on (it disappeared cause I was logged off and didn't know it) click for creating the reply or comment over again, then Cntrl-V to paste my original text back in.

Another way is to keep notepad open, type your comment or reply in notepad , then copy and paste over to SS...

I haven't had any problems with replies but my comments get chewed up now and then. What I do is select and copy the comment before I hit submit, check it and if I took to long and it didnt post, I can just paste it back in the comment box. I get real wordy on some of my comments so this has saved me a lot of grief. I did the same with my replies the other day because my coffee wasn't kicking in fast enough and it took me forever and a day to type each one. Luckily they all went through.
