After months of searching for the perfect case to house my new setup for the Bose System I finally found the perfect fit for all of the components. Setup is 10 min for both the rack and sound system. The case holds everything except the laptop for easy transport.

It houses the following:

2 Shure PGX24 SM58 Wireless Mics
1 Shure UT4A   SM58 Wireless Mic
1 Bose T1 Mixer
1 Plextor W4012A CD Burner
1 8 Plug Surge Protector
1 Radio Shack RF Modulator
All Cables, Power Supplies for Laptop, Burner, Mixer, and Wireless Mics

Weighs about 35 lbs.

that looks great!! Its not a system I would use for a few reasons, But its a great system. much nicer than 95% of the stuff I see around here. for one thing I prefer to keep my singers on a leash so they dont think theyre rock stars and go walking in front of the mains     :(  I know alot of KJs think they nead them but I only keep one , and mostly for myself. also being a sound guy for bands  I prefer to keep to more of A band type pa system.

I must say, that's very cool.  I'm more of a old school/pa guy myself.  Going to shed the 'discs' one day and go digital, but in no hurry to do so.  Enjoy & keep it rockin'....MrD

Yeah, it took me quite some time to make the switch as I was quite skeptical about something so radically different in concept and design. My Monday night venue made it easy for me to test drive the Bose System for several months before I purchased it. They bought one of these for Duo's and Trio's to play on Fri-Sat nights. The owner wanted high quality acoustics. I had been running with a Mackie DFX12 mixer and was pleased with what I heard. One big difference was that any feedback was totally eliminated even when holding the microphone within 2 feet from the tower. Due to the almost 180 degree dispersion, there was not a bad seat in the house. Also at high volume levels you could easily carry on a conversation anywhere in the room and actually hear the person without any problems. No need for Monitor's as the system is behind or to either side of the singer and KJ.

I have one cable that goes from the T1 mixer to the tower, that's it. No speaker stands or other cables.

Granted this is not for everyone but this is the ultimate for me. The sound is pure "Heaven" and it is a real time and back saver for portable applications. I'm selling off my other equipment and burning the bridges to conventional PA's.

Thanks Bab's...please excuse the garage stuff in the background. I need to do some spring cleaning but never got to it this spring...LOL

I purchased the Bose system used from Ebay. The double bass unit and L1 was $1600, which was a super deal as it sells for $2297 @ Guitar Center new and I got lucky as the guy was from Oregon and lived about 75mi away so I saved freight as well. The T1 mixer was $499 and I purchased it from Bose direct as GC did not have one in stock.

If you purchase the stuff through Bose directly they offer a 45 day trial and 0% financing. If you find that it does not perform for your needs you pay return shipping costs only. Hard to beat that deal! I gave them my debit card number and they take 12 equal monthly payments out on the date I specify when they ship. From that point they bill my card once a month on that date.

The T1 mixer is simply the best mixer I have ever experinced. The mic presets for Shure and Audix mics are excellent. The controls are velvety smooth and the mixer is perfectly matched for the bose system. It also works as a USB Sound Card and you can assign channels 4/5 for USB direct into your computer. With the external power supply $34 you can also use it for vocal recordings to your computer with a direct input from your USB. The Effects are excellent and have infinate adjustments that give you amazing control. I found no need for an external effects unit.
