Once you go thru the necessary checklist and lock and block off the bedroom door you NEVER leave the bedroom until daylight, that's VERY dangerous. You must have your snacks first... but NEVER EVER leave the bedroom!!! They could be virtually anywhere.. and where you don't check... That's usually where it happens ![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)

Personally, love that develops between an owner and their pet IMHO is about as close to "unconditional" love as love can be...JMO

I think the fact that you can honestly "unmask" with your pet, really contributes to that. I mean beyond the normal stuff we worry about, it's interesting how an animal can sense even the slightest shift in your mood and adapt to it. So often before you are even aware of a disturbance in the force.
I was blacking out with my suicide headaches and never knew it until I got Kodi. And the funny thing was, he knew how to rouse me without frightening me.
It's funny how animals seem to "get" what humans fail to or don't even bother trying to.

I was thinking of getting a dog, but what type of pet could tolerate an owner that sits on his a$$ all day typing leading a dogs life ? Animal would go crazy, and die of boredom.

If you get an older dog, you may find that it will conform to whatever lifestyle you have.
I couldn't walk when I got my dog, and he was very happy to keep me company and lay around watching me all day. LOL
It's a big commitment, though.
