   Are many home buyers in your area (and I know that's quite a desireable general area) waiting due to the projected fall within the next 6 months ?  In many areas of Georgia, S. Carolina as well as New England buyers are being told to wait since prices are expected to fall substantially in these locations.  Your location of course may be entirely different.. It's understandible that certain sellers and buyers alike might hesitate at this point.  Naturally not a good thing for Real Estate agents at THIS time period.  I believe (not certain) that in my particular area the Seller's market was at it's peak roughly about a year ago, naturally depending on area desirability the decline is slower in some locations, yet the market is falling isn't it ?

I am uncertain what Buyers are waiting for - Interest rates are low - the Maryland economy is strong and homes are priced at the lowest in 2 years! I don't see prices dropping any further in fact some have even raised their prices.

I have a home listed for $220,000 with $10,000 Seller Assistance towards buyers closing costs.

A nearly exact duplicate home across the street came on the market for $262,000!

Oops I guess it is 2 "L"s. I'm slipping.  LMAO

The market here in the Chicago area is odd. I have several realestate agents as friends. They are all extremely busy selling homes. The houses themselves are selling low, some even at a loss. If so many people are buying homes why is the price of homes so low? I just don't get it.

We have been waiting for the market to go up to sell my fiancee's town home. It doesn't appear that is going to happen anytime soon. I heard it is going to get worse before it gets better.
