I was giggling because I WISH I could go a month on a tank of gas!
I can't squeeze a week out of a tank of gas,
and that's just the "necessary" driving!

I totally agree with you about
Quote:
The mere fact that I can drive an uncool car and enjoy doing so, makes it cool

The first car I ever bought (when I was 17) I bought off an old lady who rarely drove it.
The kids in school were all driving very expensive sports cars that their parents
bought for them.

It kind of became my "signature" car and I named it Mr. Chirp.

LMAO When I was going out driving, I would say "I'm going Chirpin'.

I like being different. :drunk:  LOL

If it's what you want, and it's economical, and you both enjoy driving it...go for it! :dancin:

Hey Vicki,

I know of a woman in the UK who bought a Nissan Micra and she loves it. She said she drives it back and forth to work everyday, and a tank of petrol lasts her a month.  LOL Wish I could get that kind of mileage!

Yep its a wee gas miser! I have been driving an older version (1992) for 6 years and it has only had tyres replaced. Oopps and the bulb replaced in the back window brake light.

I havent had a horse in a few years, had one who used to love to come lick my face or wander thru the field beside me holding my hand (literally took my hand in his mouth). He was supposedly a rogue but no-one had ever told him he was nice... I was given him for the price of a float fare cos no-one could ride him ...when I told him he was indeed nice, I became his best friend...he would need to be attached...I wish I still had the pic of me sitting on the fence, he had come along and was resting his head on my shoulder so I put my ciggy in the corner of his mouth...he looked sooo funny. That darned horse jumped for joy...he leaped into the truck...he leapt off the truck...ramp was never touched...he would leap to the top of the pile of bricks the builders were using to create the floor of my stables...but above all he flew over every single fence I put him at...he just loved to jump and I wanted to steeplechase him...thing is he was so extravagant he spent too much time in the air...every time he fenced other more economical jumpers put two lengths on him cos he liked to be airborne...one could never be depressed with him around he was the ultimate clown...poor bugga had such a gay name tho...Paradise Prince...yeukkk

but I digress, horses are the only animals that I have ever let lick my face

Nice to hear  about your horse n all, but in my real world tonight I got slobbered by a female human and it was lots more rewarding than any night I ever spent with a horse by any name....I gotta admit tho that I didn't get her name....I can describe her, but can't call her by her name cause I forgot it.....I can only tell you that she did not have a Gay name that I recall and that I left her in the parking lot at Brewsers in Alexandria, Louisiana and that she needed a ride home.
