Karaoke Forums

I have several microphones that I use with my Karaoke machine but I would like to see what people use on line as in this forum. I do not use my PC for Karaoke music.
So far every time I try to sing I sound like I am in a tin can. Yes, I realize that the reverb is on but can we control how much it is one. I noticed that some people almost sound natural.
Any help or sugestion, nice ones that is, would be appreciated.

I use a Behringer XM8500 Microphone

and the

8-Channel 2-Bus Mixing Console (I think it's been discontinued).
