Well, at least you won't have to worry about mosquitos.

Which is exactly what I tell people who criticize me !

Lena,

The spider has a face that reminds me of a Walrus.. Pretty cute !   I can't be scared of that for some reason.  I just can't figure out how you're supposed to scritch it behind the ears if you can't locate them :headscratch:

I was thinking it has a happy look like you'd see on a child's stuffed toy. It looks very cute to me as well!

Here’s something I came upon last month. It’s a picture of the largest spider web ever witnessed.

Image  Image

It’s in Lake Tawakoni State Park, Texas. Entomologists say that the spider population was extra bountiful due to heavy rainfall and they (the spiders) displayed a behavior never seen before, cooperation. Normally, spiders are competitive enemies, choosing to work individually on their own webs. The web took over a month to build. It’s been blown down several times and re-spun each time.

Amazing.

That is amazing ! What kind of spiders did that?

I remember seeing that on the news a while back. It was about the time we were infested with web-worms. I was relieved to know it was spiders instead.

Hi Johnny.
