I'm painfully shy.  I have a difficult time posting in internet forums so although you'll barely see me participating here, I've been an avid reader of the forum for close to three years.  Just wanted to tell you folks that I enjoy the singing and chats I've observed.

I've been here a while, but I'm kinda shy as well.

I've lurked around a lot, but am not a very forward person, so I hide behind the scenes usually. (scenes, Muahaha, aren't I funny? no pun intended)

But, thanks to you, I finally have the courage to post.

I'm forever grateful for the grand example you set. You've built my confidence and raised my self esteem, by your own coming forward. Perhaps now, I can get to know some people here.

They pretty much don't allow nudity or exposing oneself on the board. The point(s) is that it can be offensive to people. I'm not sure what the stars are for, they are possibly awarded for how many days you've gone without exposing yourself. Not too sure about that. HTH.  :hug:

You just NEVER know.

I've never understood how a person could use the terms "opera" and "showtunes" in the same sentence as music !

Well not only that but I'm a very sensitive artistic type of person. Although I'm painfully shy, I ocassionally get in a really artsy mood and like to put the Village People on full volume and sing along.  I hate to admit this, but at times I get SO into it I start crying copious tears of emotion, and really pour my heart into the ballads. and for the next few days I'm high as a kite.. I suppose this is something all artistic sensitive types go thru..  I also like holding a broom and slow dancing to KC and  the Sunshine band love ballads...You might not understand this however,  it's a guy thing.


I also discovered something amazing last month.  You know the Eric Clapton song Cocaine ?  Well if you edit out the guitar, and drums and vocals and just listen to the bass turned ALL the way up it's an amazing spiritual experience
