BC from SoundChoice brought this to our attention!

so what do you think Matt. have you watched the shows?

I caught a little of both. They don't hold my attention at all. I think it is a cool idea, but the shows seem to move at a snails pace.

I tend to prefer the format of Don't Forget the Lyrics but I like both of them. Chuck and I don't watch much network TV, and rarely watch reality shows (even American Idol, gasp!).

I think we are all smart enough to know these shows, and karaoke in general, are supposed to be about fun, even though most of us here are "serious" karaoke singers.

Matt, hopefully these shows will help revive American karaoke. It is less prevalent in our area than it used to be, but in DFW that means that one out of every five bars now has karaoke instead of one out of four.
