Went to a place in Philly tonight, and it was packed. Not packed with good singers, either, but plenty of enthusiastic audience.

It took quite a while to get up to sing, and I sang twice -- not too well for me. But as I left, a girl tucked a dollar in my belt and said, "That was awesome, dude!"

My wife certainly hopes I didn't take her home -- and she was 25 years younger than me at least. 8-)

The song was "Heard It In A Love Song". My repertoire was a bit limited there as the KJ doesn't allow key changes....

Jerry's cool though. He'll do lapdances for loose change if the guys are cute enough and allow him to remove the belt first.

My biggest tip was after singing "I'm To sexy" was from a very good looking lady in the audience came up to me and said, "Please Dont sing that song ever again!!!!) as a tear fell down her cheek, turned and walked away.  :oh yeah: Never did sing that song again either!!!!!! :dancin: MV

Oh wow, that does evoke memories. I was up in the Wisconsin Dells at a karaoke bar that had a coin operated machine. The songs cost a buck then and I came in and although not the norm for me, I ponied up the buck and waited in the queue. When I got up and did Johnny B Goode, the bartender made sure I had a supply of dollar bills to sing with. It seems I was good at whipping up the crowd with my voice (not so good anymore) and antics.
