that uses "audition" also have vista? Or eve if you don't - do you know if they are compatible. I'm trying to download the program and am having trouble. I'd like to know if I'm beating my head against a wall or not :banghead: ...Other than the operating system the computer we have has way more than they system specifications..but there was an astonishing lack of anything about vista on the adobe site. Thanks for any info you have. :worship:

According the Adobe website
http://www.adobe.com/support/products/pdfs/adobe_products_and_windows_vista.pdf

RELATED PRODUCTS
Adobe Audition 2.0
SUPPORT FOR WINDOWS VISTA
Not officially
HOW IT RUNS UNDER WINDOWS VISTA
Installs and runs with known issues.

Q. Do current versions of Adobe products support Windows Vista?
A. All Adobe products available as of January 30, 2007 were released before Windows Vista
became publicly available and so have not been fully designed for or tested on this new
operating system. However, many of those products run under Window Vista with minimal
issues. To find out more about how different Adobe products work with Windows Vista,
please see specific product sections later in this FAQ.

Thanks a MILLION allstar! We were about to give up thinking that the vista OS was just not compatible..I'll let the hubs know- it's probably one of the firewalls that's causing the problem..but at least now I know that audition does run on vista- even with issues, Thanks again!!  :dancin:

LMAO I HAVE audacity....I can't figure out how to get it to play the track AND record my singing at the same time---so I thought I'd get something else. Do you know how to make audacity do that...if you do then I'd love to use it- but so far it hasn't been working too well for me. I also have trouble trying to convert sound effects into numbers like adding reverb and all that stuff.
