Karaoke for food,

Yeah, I got lucky on the price....Cactus Jack from the forum here was visiting me last week...We went to the music store where I bought a new guitar and some mic cables...We got home to discover the Behringer had gone tits-up with no left channel, so I went back next day and they had the Peavey on sale for $699 with $160 factory rebate...I gave Cactus Jack the Behringer and racked up the Peavey....The difference was like night n day!

I've only just started playing with the FX and presets, and I am totally impressed....I also gave Cactus Jack my outboard Lexicon 200 FX unit cause I noticed right away that this board sounded every bit as good as the Lex......I've got an Art Pro Channel vocal strip I'll probably no longer need also.

My only complaint is that Peavey failed to write a very good owner's manual, so It's a lot of work experimenting and digging thru all the menus in the onboard computer to figure it all out.

Hello Blue Stained Shoes,

Ain't you that gal who is named after toilet paper? LMAO

I missed you

Hey George!

Please tell me more about the mixer's USB "B" port......Tell me ALLLLLL about it.

Looks like I gotta build a new DAW cause ex abscounded with the one I had build so carefully last year.

My old DAW was a rackmount ATX and contained an M-Audio pro level sound card that jacked into mixer via 1/4" TRS.....Just what does this new feature on the mixer demand I build to interface properly, and exactly what capabilities does it grant interface-wize?

Thanks!

Your memory is fading Keith.... I don't shoot guns, I swing splitting mauls:)

The brat...(is not a brat, btw, a bit spoiled but the best grandbaby on the planet) I got updated pics of him in my gallery, he's getting big really fast.

He's not so great at the moment. He's 90 mile an hour all over the house. Last night he managed to pull a door shut on his little finger and cut it almost off....so we had a big rush to the hospital. Fortunately, they were able to sew it back, but he's gonna be hurting for a few days, and his hand is in a big ol' bandage. Freaky experience, I almost lost my sanity, I was so scared.

Other than THAT episode, he's great. Walking and jabber-jawwing and all that good stuff. Thanks for asking about him.

Thanks.   He's holding up like a champ though, he's a tough little guy, he's just using his left hand for everything and acting like there's nothing wrong at all. Suprises me how agile babies can actually be (when some grown men would be whining about the pain)  LOL

Now, go look at his pics in my gallery....so you can tell me how handsome he is:)
