Has anyone here ever done that?
My family is calling me nuts (as is my boss, Lol) . I don't do psychic stuff, never had my palms read before, don't follow astrology or anything of the sort. I just did it cause... the booth was there, and I though "hmmm... wonder what she'll say and if she'll be as phony sounding as I'm thinking she will?"
I left that booth with the creeps. First off, can't stand someone staring into my eyes so intently (unless, of course, you're about to kiss me or profess your undying love... and she did neither)
But some of the stuff she said kinda freaked me out. She mentioned a few things, that really... nobody could have known. And they were specific things, not just "you lost a loved one in your past" type things that would apply to most anyone. She would look at my palms, stare into my eyes, and say something that sent chills down my spine.
So, anyone have any experiences with stuff like this to share? I think it's wierd that she hit home on a few very touchy issues for me, but at the same time I'm shaking my head laughing thinking "why in the hell did I give that woman $20?"
.

One of my closest friends is a wicca and she has had a lot of training in psychic ways. She can read the cards and all the others Palm reading can sometimes be accurate although she doesnt do it.
Look at your palm below the middle finger in between the 2 major lines. A short or forked line indicates a daughter A long line indicates a son. More often than not the lines tell the story..

I was about to have my palms read once, but when the damn lady pulled out a shaver I left, so as I was walking away she said "beat it", to which I turned around and exclaimed, "How'd you know that?"
I know nothing about chiromancy. Can't tell you if I do or do not believe in it even.

I was playing around with a Ouiji board once and suddenly the room became very cold and my friend and I started freaking out and ran out've the room. I have no idea whether anything actually was happening, or we were just freaking out running away because we figured that's what happens with ouiji boards... But the eyes on the farah fawcette poster started to look real. This happened in 1991. Needless to say the next day during daylight I sat at the foot of the poster staring waiting for the mouth to appear real and say "Oh Kappy, I want you".
Seriously, I'm fascinated with the occult. While I'm not certain I do or do not believe in some of this stuff, it's pretty freaky when you are tired, and candles are lit.
Also keeps me awake some nights thinking about it so I must believe in something assuming this stuff can keep me awake. Never again will I watch a movie like "Salems Lot" at 3 AM when I find myself awake with insomnia

my later years was working at a call center. I was doing tech support for Nikon cameras . This gut called in and was desperate His son was killed on safari in Africa and he just got his personal effects back and the last pics he took was on this camera..
Halfway through the call his sons's spirit was talking to me and wanting to say things to his father which I was relaying. The father asked a couple of questions which was answered. When I hung up I was sort of freaked but I have had several other similar experiences.
I can sort of do it on a forum like this but it is superficial and shallow at best.

A friend of my mothers experienced something similar but thereafter had the sound of footsteps up the hallway so she ran to a priest and got the house blessed
I guess the more I embrace Paganism the less I am interested in the occult...that may seem like a contradiction but it isnt ![lol lol](./images/smilies/emot-LOL.gif) .
For me my faith revolves around awareness of nature and attributing my sucesses (small in comparison to others) to the path I choose to walk. I know for others spells etc are an important part of it, they arent for me...I am not rich, I am not the best I can be, but I am content and if my life makes me content why would I want to change it?
Sure it would be nice to be able wave a wand and be rich but do I need it to be fulfilled? nope.
My card reading is basic at best but it is interesting how a pattern begins to emerge. I find I have more sucess if I do not do it with a preconceived question I need answers to. For instance when my dad was very sick and there was no quality of life left my question obviously revolved round how long he had...the cards told me nothing about that they simply told me that the path I was on was right for me and I was going to be sucessful in what I did.

Well, I'm a bit on the fence about it.
While she did indeed tell me some things that were crazily personal but true... I still have the mind set of "if it's true, prove it to me beyond a shadow of a doubt".
She didn't answer questions, I didn't ask any. She told me to concentrate on 2 positive things I'd like to have happen in my life, and to tell her one and keep the other to myself. She didn't even dwell on what I confided to her.... she stared at me, and honestly brought up such personal things that I was near tears when I left, cause it's things I don't like to talk about. The only question she asked was ONE name (of someone other than me) which I gave her, and then she gave me some "insight" as to this persons life situation and feelings. Ha! Due to some of these things (since it WAS things I was curious to hear), I can indeed see why people would quickly get addicted to paying money... to find out "more".
My palm reading consisted of "you come from a large family" (I do, 9 kids) and that I would live a very long life (heaven help the world if that's true, but it remains to be seen) The rest of everything she said came directly from her looking at me. THAT is what freaked me out, and how specific she got. She didn't talk in generalities at all, but named a LOT of specifics. And I tell ya, nothing I said, nor the way I looked, or anything else, could have made her know or guess this stuff.... because it's just too random for her to have thought of.
I could have done the tarrot cards, but I wasn't inclined to spend that much money on an impetuous decision. (it was double what I did pay)
As it was, I had quite a bit told to me about career, family, and my present and future love life. (on that last one, I think I exhausted her completely, and I'm sure she had to shut down her booth and have a nap to get revived) LMAO

Great Ollie... I just compared both hands, and now I'm mixed up and scared as hell!!
For instance, ''affection line".... yup, there's one on my right hand, not very long, but very etched into my hand. But there's THREE on my left hand, and the middle one is forked. ![LMAO LMAO](./images/smilies/emot-LMAO.gif) Dunno what all that means, so I'm just gonna quit while I'm ahead;)

Can one of you kindly stick a cross in between my right and left heel when you pass by ! Thanks in advance. I think I left it by the nightstand and forgot to take it with me around the time I wet myself.

Kappy.... ..... the time you must spend digging up funny pics to go with threads. LOL
I'm wondering now.... If I put something dark on my palms, to "stain them" so the lines show better, then take close up pics of them and put here, if Ollie could give me a rundown of my past & future:)
Oh no, Phill..... we need a Psychic Forum now. LOL
(but seriously, I'm gonna do this atleast once more, to see if I get the same readings... or maybe twice more, to see what my "2 outta 3" is)
>somebody stop me<

dunno babe, this one has far less banners and no naked stuff but I cant use smilies unless I type in the code and I dunno most of em cept for ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif) and ![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif) and ![lol lol](./images/smilies/emot-LOL.gif) this is the proxy I have used way back at the beginning of the probs months ago...it allows you to upload. But I dont have a prob accessing SS the usual way. the link you gave me to a forum discussing the error message looks only to be useful for folks serving. I am not serving so I dont think it can help me...I did point Phil in that direction but have had no response since...he did say that I am not the only one having probs which of course will bode well, cos if it were just me it would be tough titties
