Yesterday it clouded up and rained late aft and from 5 p to to 9 a this morn it was 70 degrees + or - 2 Now at 2 p it is 89.. It is partly cloudy. Here in co we have a 30 degree spread between the high and low in the summer. Also it is very dry here No humidity unless rain..

How Dry?   That time it rained 40 days and 40 nights.. We got 2 1/2 inches that time....

One time Jose was outside playing A rare rare rainstorm hit and it scared him so bad he fainted. It took 2 1/2 buckets of sand to bring him to.

Today up here in north-central CT isn't particularly hot (it's only around 80) but the air is saturated.  The dewpoint is rediculously high.. Feels stale, tropical rainforest -like, heavy, lousy breathing.  This is what I dislike about this area..  While I've never been to San Diego, or areas of NM,  from what I'm hearing,  that type air is what I need to be happy.  Not to be a wuss,  but those of us with asthma, and bad allergies have special needs you know

Good news:  We got some rain yesterday, kept the temps under 100...but, we don't really need any more rain...

Bad news:  Our AC decided to crap out last night...at 5am, it's 83 and muggy inside our house!!  :shock:

The humidity is what I can't stand. It felt actually cold last night when the temperatures dropped, but the humidity made it feel like I was coated in cold honey. We sat outside to visit and everything was soaking wet. Not from rain, but from the humidity.

I couldn't handle the humidity you get up there Babs. Ours is usually pretty low by comparison.

temps broke today... was misty and overcast all day. Was sure nice to actually get a chill with the a/c rather than it fighting off the swelterin' heat!

Oh living in Illinois is a treat. Today it was so cold I wore a coat. It has been storming all day. And to think I was complaining about the heat last week (100 degrees). We have the goofiest weather here. Next week snow.  LMAO

Twas a lovely day in the 80s today with some humidity. After I got home the rain came and was it storming. Flood warnings all over the county. My apartment is in a low spot. DJ and Karaoke equipment and the model cars are being placed in a higher spot.
