Woman Attacks Karaoke Singer In Middle Of Song

SEATTLE - A woman attacked a karaoke singer belting out Coldplay on Thursday night, telling him he ``sucked'' before she pushed and punched him to get him to stop singing, bar staff said.

The man was singing ``Yellow'' when it happened.

``It took three or four of us to hold her down,'' bartender Robert Willmette said.

When she was escorted outside, the 21-year-old woman ``went crazy,'' Willmette said, throwing punches at him and others, including an off-duty police officer.

Patrol officers and detectives then arrived at the neighborhood bar and blocked off the street, which inflamed the woman's rage even more, a police report said. Before police could handcuff the woman, she headbutted the off-duty officer at least twice.

The off-duty officer was treated for cuts, scrapes and bruises.

After treatment for injuries, the woman was booked into the King County jail for investigation of assault. She was also held on a warrant issued for a previous theft charge.

According to bartenders, she had only a single shot of Jagermeister.

chances are quite excellent she was on other things, like meth!

Probably Matt,  or one (if not several of the over 50 "ingredients") in the drink interacted with one if not several of the "ingredients" she was on..  But it does seem like meth type aggression.  I'd be curious to see a photo of this female..  Whether she's 6 feet and built like a tank, or petite and dainty like Jerry.

There may have been subliminal messages in the karaoke track that she picked up on!  :shock:   Also if American Idol ever needs a new judge she could spice up the program a lot!

Maybe the KJ was spinning the disk backwards..  LMAO

I find it strange that they don't say what bar she was at.... Doesn't the bar want the publicity???  LOL.. Or maybe they don't.. I was wondering if it was Lonman's place at first.. But I don't think he is in King county....

as Stevan pointed out, it's very much like a meth reaction. Also, other factors can have a serious add to no alcohol, let alone one drink.

Fatigue - the individual had been up for longer than 24 or so hours... the body can act really weird with that kind of stress.

already imbibed from another source - and it just caught up to her.

lack of nutrition - not eating properly

or any and all of the above!

There was a similar incident at the bar I worked at in Portland. Nice girl... came in, had one drink, was doing real well and then suddenly snapped. Instant lethargy, violent bursts of anger...

come to find out she'd been up for 36 hours, had little to sleep, and was a known alcoholic (guzzling a whole quart of vodka in a weekend)!

Here's a slightly more detailed account of the episode.  I wanted to see if it was determined that she was drugged, drunk, had a history of psychotic episodes, etc.  Prior theft charge too ?   To support a drug habit ?  Still,  I was very surprised to see that this particular story headlined world-wide, because this girl is obviously ill, and to say the episode happened due to a song is ludicrous, she was just a bomb waiting to go off..
