when do you get ANYTHING free for a computer? Or for a component that hooks up to a stereo system?
Even WIRES cost...

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I host for a club that owns the catalog. Not only is the catalog outdated but so is the method. I am updating the catalog as well as converting to pc play. I will be using winamp to play (already functioning) and AudioGrabber to rip. I need to back up my original CDGs. Are there any free programs for burning of cgd+mp3 zip files?

The unregistered version of CDRWin will burn CDG but only at 1x speed.
However I believe you will find the very minimal cost to register (allowing much faster speed) will save you lots of time.

Legalities aside, legalities way way way to the side, are you trying to copy a CD+G or zipped files? Any burning program will copy zipped files. Just go to a shareware site and pick out a free one.
Copying a CD for archival purposes.... not going there. Nope, nope, nope, not me. Ahn ah, nooooo......

Nero will burn your .bin files... if you have the right version. And I know Nero comes with burners, or did in the past...

One more question...Audiograbber converts to 56 kbs. Is there any way to save at a higher rate, say 128 kbs?

just remember, you need a converter to do the compression... and I wouldn't recommend going below 192. I have some files at 128 and I can honestly tell the difference.
