It's a week from tomorrow, just outside of Molalla, at Feyrer Park in Dickey Prarie .

(NO jokes about the name of the town... I think Lewis and Clark musta been smoking some of that Indian weed and had the giggles when they named a few of the towns here in the great northwest)  

Any-who, just thought I'd extend an invite. Sorry, no karaoke there. But lots of music- bring your guitars and such... and your fishing poles and swimming gear. BBQ and beer will be provided.

(oh, and sorry, no mud wrestling or skinny dipping this time, too many little ones will be there....... we'll save that for MY birthday party)  :whistle:

I forgot how long it took me to swim from Boston Harbor to Cape Town South Africa. But to be perfectly honest,  It was exhausting !   That stuff is fine to do when you are in your teens or early 20's,  but not at our ages Jian !   I mean,  when you're older you can get cramps and stuff,  and some of the water current out in the middle of the Atlantic and Pacific can be strong at times...  If you are determined to swim across the pacific,  at least have water-wings so you can roll over on your back at times and rest without having to worry about treading water !   Also make sure you know of restaurants that have really liberal delivery services that will deliver food outside of a local radius !   When you are swimming you can work up quite an appetite !   and it's quite a distance between restaurants and bathrooms once yet get out a few miles into the ocean !

Do you have a waterproof notebook computer with a wireless modem ?

In my younger days I was a marathon swimmer; but still I may need 3 pairs of arms and legs to do that. I need a waterproofed karaoke PA system for such trip
