I didn't notice this forum until after I made my 1st post with a question in the Technical Forum.
I'm a fairly recent home Karaoke fan. About a year ago, on a whim, I hooked up my daughter's Singing Machine to my home audio and projector after a football game. Everyone loved it, and since then we've been doing Karaoke regularly at get-togethers and I've been slowly building a collection of CD+G's.
I've decided to get a dedicated Karaoke player, but have experienced vocal distortion with the 2 units I've tried. Now I'm looking into a basic, inexpensive mixer. I'm a major home audio/video enthusiast, and now home Karaoke is becoming a significant part of this electronics hobby. It's just so much fun to watch and hear others enjoying the Karaoke.

Welcome to the forum Adam. I myself have had an interest in electronics for most of my life. I suppose that got me started in the DJ/KJ business as much as the love of music. Karaoke business gives me plenty of justification to buy all kinds of neat electronic goodies.
