Hi All: I downloaded the trial version of the Vogone program for removing vocals. When I went to try and save the music from the CD to my computer, I couldnt because I dont know how to. I think the CD music is a wav file. I dont know for sure though. I want to try and save the music to my computer so I can get it in the Vogone program to see what happens...HELP PLEASE!

Yes, you need to copy it directly into the computer as an uncompressed file (.wav) by using a program like microstudio (another MTU Product) or even Audiograbber to copy the song to hard drive.
The actual file extension of a song on disc is CDDA. may have added an extra letter there. once it has been transferred uncompressed to the hard drive is when it becomes a .wav file.

If all you want to do is add music to your PC, Download the Free Version of
Windows Media Player, Real One Player, Rhapsody or Music Match. Simply Open the player and pop your disc in your computer and the player
will read your drive and ask you if you want to add the songs to your library.
Select yes and it starts downloading to your PC.
Most players are configured to use the Free db sevice, so the Artist and Titles
will appear and your done.
Micro Studio is a Karaoke Authoring Software. Yes Of course it will do it, for about $100 bucks.
Also: Your in for a Big Heartache if you buy Vogone. I have all of them.
Dart, Power Karaoke, Micro Studios, etc., etc..
It Never Fails, I try 50 songs and maybe One come out fairly descent. (Not Good Though)
It Never Works on the songs I Really Like.
If its not Center-Channeled forget it. And the ones that are close to being Center-Channeled, Have Reverb, and a whole lot of other things that will distort you Music. In my opinion only the Thompson Eliminator works. But who wants to spend $2,000 Dollars.
I solved that problem with Multiplex. Hit the MPX button and the VOICE is Gone.
