I started going to a tanning bed to get a little sun before I go on vacation. We're going to be at a bunch of water parks, so I didn't want to ruin my vacation by getting burnt the first day. So instead I get burnt by the tanning bed.  LMAO

I went 3 days for 10 minutes and did fine, so I upped my time a little. My back side burnt so bad I couldn't sleep all night. Sitting is a chore too.

Now 3 days later and ton of aloe vera my a$$ is still killing me.

This is a warning to all fair skinned white butts out there. Beware of tanning beds.  LMAO

You are not supposed to go everyday  :no: .  You also don't up your time after 3 visits either until you have a darker base.

Guess that put a halt to those spankings, you love so much. ......Ocean Potion is pretty good stuff for that, but I don't know if we can find it around here.....Solarcain, and some Vicodin is all I can think of.......couldn't happen to a nicer A$$ though....

(nice thing about typing in chatrooms all day is that I keep my a@@ where the sun don't shine !   Don't even need to exercize to get the ideal washboard flat firm a@@ that retains it's perfect computer chair contour flatness !)

I've never used a taning bed, I use the old fashioned method of good ol' sunshine. BUT.... I've tanned my hiney cheeks a few times too.

Get a jar of Noxzema cold cream. (the original blue jar they've always had, not any of the newer stuff in tubes)

Awesomest stuff I've ever used for sunburned cheeks. (both kinds of them...)  LOL

That sucks!!! Butt, believe me I know how you feel.. It happened to me 1 week before Rich and I got married. Go back to the tanning salon and tell them you are really burned and they should have some lotion that will clear it up in a day or two.  That's what I did and after 2 days I was all better...

Any Aloe based cream or lotion made for burns will be fine & cheaper than what the tanning places will sell you - I know I owned a tanning place  :shock:

Actually my Babsie Poo.... ....rare enzymes, that completely neutralize the pain of sunburn, are contained within the chemical composition of my, even rarer, saliva..........though several hours of application are necessary, the end(pun intended.... ) result can be most gratifying. And yes, as luck would have it,.........this Doctor makes house calls.........  :drool:  LMAO

Noxema has a good cooling effect on burned skin!

Best Bet....True Aloe, not the stuff from a bottle or can or lotion.  get a plant, break the tip of a "leaf" off and rub the gooey stuff all over your hiney.  I am fortunate to have enough Cherokee in me that even when I "burn" it turns tan the net day (which really pi.sses the wife off!), but i have treated plenty of sunburns.  anyway, the other thing to do is use a good moisturizing cream to help minimize peeling.  also, if you don't already, sleep without anything touching the burnt area letting the air get to it.  this will most likely mean sleeping on your stomach.  one last thing, if you put the aloe on before going to bed, you will stain your sheets.

Ive been burned on the beach but my most favorite memory is when we went marlin fishin out of Mazatlan for the day.. About noon I took my boots and socks off snd put my bare feet on the gunwhale.  Sat there drinking Pascifico beer and dreaming about things and just relaxing like only one can do in Mexico....We went out that night to our beach hotel lounge and I had a blister on my ankle half the size of a golf ball I begged the waitress for montequilla (butter) She brought it over and I starting rubbing it on my ankle. Her eyes flew wide open "por le sol?" Si...She looked at me and said You gringos are loco!!!I laughed so  hard I was crying

I've been told to use Noxema, but was to scared to try it. I was also told to try watered down vinegar. I stuck with the aloe, but thank you.

I still have sun lamps.   Try falling asleep under one of those !   I've done it.  You don't do it twice.  Although I've done that too

I remember the old sun lamps from high school. Dangerous things. I guess you are safe though Kappy with that magic saliva of yours. It brings new meaning to licking your own wounds.  LMAO

You are not supposed to go more than every other day.  
When you get into the booth, you start off slow for a FEW - about 5/6 - visits (you were good at 10 minutes) then gradually build up a minute or 2 max the next set of visits.  You know you've been in too long if you start getting a sort of tingling sensation & I don't care if you still have paid minutes - get out!  You are done for the day.  If you didn't feel comfortable with the upped minutes - or had to get out early, then back down a minute next time.
And always use a good INDOOR non-oil based tanning lotion.  Outdoor only & oil based lotions can ruin the acrylic bed liners.
