Here's my workout, and it seems to work fairly well!

i roll (literally) out of bed about 10am (hey, you've GOT to be dedicated!)
then i walk to the fridge and grab a chocolate milk and lift it to my lips.
after i've burned a few calories that way i search for the remote control to the TV, the n i give my thumbs a workout switching channels.  about noon it's time to whip up a peanut butter sandwich and grab the chips which are on the bottom shelf so i get a good lower back and oblique workout there.
about 2 or 3 i start with the 12 oz curls.......what?!  this is a great workout!  ou just waid you wanted to be in shape.  you didn't say WHAT shape!

I've been a member of Bally's since the early 80's (I think it was known as something else back then).  When I get the urge to exercise I go (which is about twice a year  LOL).  I let it expire every year and when they offer me a special I renew.  Then I hardly use it again.  It's a vicious circle.    They know how I operate and get me everytime.  :(

Whenver I've bought any exercise equipment for the home, it ends up being a clothes hanger.  I've bought a treadmill, stationary bike, Nordic track, etc, etc, etc.  I VOW to never buy any more.  When I feel like it, I'll go for a walk or pop a dvd in and work out to that.  Taebo gives me fast results.   :oh yeah:

You just reminded me that I haven't seen the name Zig-Zag since the very early 1980's.   I think I'll look up Zig-Zag on the net..  I can't imagine that type company wouldn't still exist.

I stopped drinking sodas and lost 11 pounds in less than 2 weeks. Than I decided to have a soda with lunch and before you know it....right back where I started. Those are the calories that kill ya!  There is no middle ground! I was buying bottled water by the truckload and now just drink them on the disc golf course through the heat. I even tried several flavored waters but they have tons of calories or are using artificial sweeteners, which I won't touch.

The latest carcinigen = the next artificial sweetener. (Standing rule)  :O

C'mon Steven,

We know you're the owner/manger of a chain of head shops in the Ct area and that you have bubble yum, liver and onion and watermelon flavored papers.
Put away the water bong for a minute and tell me what flavors you're working on this week.  :worship:

  LMAO

Yeah well, not to brag but ever since I got busted during my "Y2K" new mellenium special I'm not as respected as I was. Even though you and I know "You get what you pay for", it seems too many uptight yankees around here expect the shirt off've your back and in turn wish to pay close to nothing !  They take umbrage to naturopathic bonging with ostomy equipment, urine and oregano..  For awhile I was making quite a profit too and everything was COMPLETELY natural !
I was reading this ayervedic homeopathetic Jesus diet stuff, and got the idea of a naturophiliac means of cleansing the cilia of the lungs, but people in this area are just too rigid :(

Great cardio workout !  Both aerobic, and Isotonic.  What's your pulse recovery rate though ?  You do keep a log right ? <snicker>

Did I ever tell you about my infomercial ?  I got the idea from watching those girls on that big red boat...

I went to this local chiropractor to ask her about Rolfing, reikki, and therapeutic massage, but to make a long story short (which she refused to take part in despite her supposed credentials) I got arrested:(

If you diet but don't exercise you lose 75% muscle and 25% fat.

If you diet and exercise you lose 75% fat and 25% muscle.

That is straight from my IDEA Personal Trainer Book.

It is a huge motivater to get me working out knowing that.

I just got back from the health club and I am pooped. I'm thinking about taking a nap. Now how silly is that. I love the elliptical machine. I looked into buying one for home, but man they are expensive!

What's your work out routine? (mating rituals don't count)  LMAO

I used to run 6 to 8 miles 5 or 6 days a week, that was until about a year ago.....my knees started giving me too much trouble. Now I walk 5 miles, takes me 70 minutes, and I like to go 3 days, and rest 1. I found that when I ran at least 6 miles 5 days a week......I could eat and drink everything and anything, all day long if I wanted....and never gain weight........walking just doesn't get it....lol...I've gone through 3 treadmills(though I prefer outside whenever possible)....usually spend 1000 bucks on one........they break down often(usually when the warranty expires), and even when I've been able to fix them myself.......the parts were expensive. I like to take a day off, but I try never to miss two days in a row. This keeps me from burning out, but if I take two days off, it makes it tough to start again....lol....If you dread you're next workout....you are pushing to hard, and it will keep you from pursuing this necessary, lifetime regimine......good luck

Hi Johnny -
Have you tried an elliptical machine. It's like running on air. You get the workout of running, but save your knees.
